Many of the veterans we serve are homebound and living alone. They get a week of meals — and a visitor who keeps coming back.

Why veterans
Service does not protect against isolation
Veterans in our region are disproportionately likely to live alone, manage service-connected disabilities, and fall outside the reach of family support. Benefits paperwork rarely solves the practical problem of getting dinner on the table when leaving the house is hard.
We serve veterans through home-delivered meals and visits, through shelters and transitional housing partners, and through neighborhood pantry partners near VA facilities.
Veterans also make some of our most committed volunteers — driving routes, cooking, and visiting other veterans who understand the shorthand.
- Weekly home-delivered meals and friendly visits
- Snack bags and prepared meals for veterans experiencing homelessness
- Coordination with VA social workers, case managers, and veteran service organizations
- Peer visiting — veterans serving veterans
