Meals for Homebound Client Friends

Volunteers make weekly home visits to deliver meals and spend time with seniors, veterans, people with disabilities, and other isolated homebound neighbors.

What you receive

A week of meals, and someone at the door

Client friends receive a week's worth of balanced, freezable meals prepared in our commercial kitchen or by volunteer home cooks, plus groceries, snacks, and seasonal fresh produce as available.

There is no cost, no fee, and no income paperwork. Deliveries are made by a volunteer visitor who returns the same day each week and stays to talk.

  • Balanced meals designed for reheating, with common dietary needs accommodated
  • Groceries, shelf-stable staples, and fresh produce alongside meals
  • A weekly friendly visit from the same volunteer
  • Wellness awareness — visitors flag concerns to our program staff
  • Serving Philadelphia, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties
